Citizen Science: Recording Biodiversity with iNaturalist

Have you ever been wondered what an unusual bird or insect was? Or perhaps you've noticed a strange mushroom whilst out walking, Have you ever found it hard to find out? Perhaps you'd like to combine your curiosity with citizen science.

iNaturalist is a phone app that allows you to record birds and plants in your area, and to identify them. More than that, though, it's a means of combining observations from around the world to find out where and when plants and animals are at.

This Saturday afternoon (Apr 29 at 2:00pm) come to the Nettleton Park reserve (Melway 59 J7 behind the ovals) for an afternoon of citizen science and figuring out this new technology, with Back2Nettleton and ACF Malvern Climate Action Group.

There may even be cake!
