Burwood, VIC: The Peoples Voice Drop-off Chisholm

We are meeting to deliver the Together We Can People’s Voice, individual stories from Chisholm to Carina Garland, our newly elected Federal MP.  We will share our collective voice with Carina so she knows we continue to be concerned and need strong action for climate and nature. 

We will gather in Gardiners Creek Reserve opposite 5 Fletcher Parade, for a powerful photo with our New Dawn for Climate and Nature banner. We are inviting Carina to attend our event in order to receive the document, which outlines the concerns that Chisholm constituents have about climate, and their call for solutions to be implemented by the government.  If that’s not practical, then a delegation of attendees will deliver the stories to Carina at her office afterwards. 

ACF Community Chisholm is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.

It's up to all of us to slow the spread of COVID-19. Please stay home and do not attend this event if you feel unwell or if you are showing any COVID symptoms (fever, shortness of breath, flu-like symptoms such as coughing, sore throat or fatigue). Additionally, do not attend the event if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, or have had direct contact with an individual diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
