Chisholm Vic: Climate Conversations Mt Waverley 20220507

Following our successful action at Glen Waverley in March we  want to  bring a little bit of colour to local shopping strips, and, along the way, demonstrate broad community support for ambitious climate action.

We will be distributing 'Climate Action Now' signs to be put up in shops, cafes, and homes and having conversations with shoppers when we can.

The Climate Poll tells us that a large majority of people are concerned, but may not know what action to take.

We will talk to people about their views around Climate Action and:

• Show them how to sign up to Together We Can
• Ask them if they would like to display a Climate Action sign.
• Tell them about our group and other upcoming events.

If you have an ACF or Climate tee-shirt please wear it.  We will have stock of tee-shirts, badges and clipboards for those who don't have them. This will be a great opportunity to find out more about specific local concerns, catch up in person and get some photos for social media.

We will meet outside the Salvos thrift shop, near the railway station carpark.
