Chisholm Vic: 2030 Targets Action Burwood 20220506

Our Community is very disappointed in the lack of commitment to Climate Justice by our Federal Government.  Science and the Glasgow pact are very clear on the need for strong emission reductions of more than 50% by 2030.

We are holding  regular actions asking for science based 2030 targets on Friday mornings.  Our initial actions were outside Chisholm MP Gladys Liu's office and now we are visiting a number of other locations throughout the electorate.

We will meet on the Southeast corner of the intersection of Middleborough Rd and Burwood Highway.  There is a carpark behind the shops there.  Then we can spread out to face all the traffic with banners and signs in the usual way.  Physical Distancing is easy to maintain in this way.

Please bring a facemask and hand sanitiser if you have them.  Signs will be available for sharing.   Obey local regulations for Covid Safety at all times.  Do not attend if you are unwell.
