As part of the Queensland community, we know that for you – the federal government’s approval of Adani’s giant Carmichael coal mine is close to home.

If the mine goes ahead, it will make climate change much worse, irreversibly damage the Reef and could wipe out the Southern Black-throated Finch.

That’s why ACF is challenging the approval in the Federal Court and activating communities to speak out.

Will you join us in Brisbane for networking, discussions and action on our campaign to stop the mine? We’d love to see you there!

Hear from three great speakers, get to know your local community of people who care and be part of a creative action to show overwhelming support for the Reef!

Speakers include:

  • Sean Ryan – Environment Defenders Office (EDO), QLD
  • Dr. Selina Ward – coral expert and Senior Lecturer, University of Queensland
  • A member of the Black-Throated Finch Recovery Team
