Thursday 28 July, we're holding an action factory to prepare for our big, colourful snap actions to Shine a light for the reef.
While our politicians campaigned this election, the reef bleached before our eyes.
Yet Adani’s giant Carmichael coal mine could still go ahead. Any minute now, the judge will decide our court case challenging the mine’s approval.
Together, we’re bringing hundreds of people together in Melbourne and Brisbane to Shine a light for the reef and send our new representatives a strong message – Australians want you to choose our beautiful reef, not more polluting coal.
We'll light up the night with coral coloured lanterns so our love for the reef shines bright!
Join us this Thursday 28 July from 6-8.30pm in West End. We'll watch a film, discuss the campaign and create reef coloured sea creature lanterns and other creative banners and props for the snap actions.
Never been to an action factory? We bring volunteers together to get creative for upcoming actions. Action factories are exciting, fun and a great way to hear more about campaigns, meet new people, learn new skills and take action!
Kids welcome. Dinner provided.
