The politicians elected to represent us are trying to ignore the huge movement of Australians who want to #StopAdani. If we want them to take notice, we have to spell it out for them.
Join in for a big day of action on Saturday 7 October! Stop Adani groups across the country are spelling it out with giant human signs. But Canberra has already done this!
Join in for an iconic photo opportunity at Parliament House at 11am. This will be used in the campaign to call on federal ACT MPs to publicly say no to Adani, and no public money for a corrupt company.
This will be followed by public engagement at Floriade at 11.45am. Meet at the regatta point entrance. We will talk to the crowds and spread the word. Because with people power we can win against Adani and create a safe, livable climate!
Date: Saturday 7 October
Venue: Parliament House, Canberra
Bring: Your friends, family and signs! Wear red and black - the #StopAdani colours.
Together, we can stop this mine and create a better world, powered by clean energy, where our reefs and communities thrive.
This is an independently run event hosted by Stop Adani Canberra and 350.org.
