This month we're returning to our family's favourite spot to see wild koalas - Whites Hill Reserve.
Join us for a a gentle family hike and hopefully some koala spotting! We’ll be there with our kids aged 2 and 13.
Some parts of the trail are not pram friendly so you'll want to bring a baby carrier if you're bringing bub along.
We'll meet outside the children's playground at Whites Hill Reserve opposite the touch football clubhouse. You can enter the Reserve via the lights at Boundary Rd, Camp Hill.
We want to make our hikes welcoming and inclusive for all carers. Here’s what to expect:
All carers are welcome
We welcome all mums, dads, partners, step-parents, foster parents, carers and friends.
No family left behind
We know hiking with children can bring unique challenges. If you need to stop to change a nappy or to feed, no worries. We’ll stop and take a break.
Welcome circle introductions
Our hikes begin with a Welcome Circle, where we introduce ourselves and our families and set the intention for our time together.
After the hike is finished, we'll have some morning tea at the playground. We'll also bring along some koala themed books and colouring activities for the little ones.
We'll bring tea and coffee supplies. Please bring a plate of food to share if you can.
Sign up using the form on this page so we know how many people to expect.
Interested but can't make the time? Register here and we’ll let you know about future events like this.
Happy hiking,
Emma and Matt
