We need you!

Leading up to the Victorian elections at the end of November, we are campaigning hard at the grassroots to raise awareness about the impact of native forest logging on our environment. As part of this, we will be engaging with our local community through conversations at a stall at the South Melbourne Market on Saturday, 22 and Saturday, 29 October.

Can you put your hand up to volunteer for a shift with a couple of others on one of these days?

We know that thoughtful community conversations are a critical way to change hearts and minds when it comes to caring for our environment. This is where you come in…

How to get involved:

  • Let us know if you can attend a 3-hour shift (10am - 1pm, 1pm - 3pm) on either Saturday 22 or Saturday 29, October

  • Join a zoom briefing on Wednesday, 19 October, from 7:30-8:30 pm to get equipped with some key messages, facts and strategies for having good conversations

  • Attend a shift with some other ACF volunteers and get to talk to our community!

Register your interest in volunteering here and we will be in touch to confirm the details.

This is a great opportunity to connect and make friends with others in the ACF community, engage with the wider public and take action to protect our environment.

Every little bit we can do is important. We hope to see you at the stall!

Mia, on behalf of the ACF Macnamara team

ACF is a non-partisan organisation.  We do not advise the community as to how to vote but will, during elections, demonstrate to candidates
what poll after poll has told us; the majority of Australians want action to solve the climate and extinction crisis now.
