Come and join us for a walk at Lake Parramatta on Sunday 20 August. Lake Parramatta is the largest surviving bushland area in the Parramatta Local Government Area and has the highest diversity of native flora and fauna. In particular there are lots of different species of birds.
We will have a Bring Your Own food and drink picnic starting at 12.30pm and we will head off on our walk at 1.30pm. If you would prefer just to come for the walk or just for the picnic, that's fine. I will send details about where we will meet, etc closer to the day.
There are 5 different walks of varying lengths and difficulty. They range from a 600-metre surfaced, wheelchair-assisted accessible path to a circuit around the lake of 4.2 kilometres. There is a walk for everyone. It is great for children.
Hope to see you then!
Cheers
Martin
