Getting out in nature is proven to help our mental health, and we’re so lucky to live in a place where we have access to so much of it! Come along on this bushwalk and meet some like-minded people who have a strong connection to nature and want to protect it.
We'll meet at Red Hill Reserve at 9:00am and walk to Dee Why West Regional Reserve and back, which is roughly 6km in total. We expect it to take about 2 hours with some stops along the way to view the First Nations engravings along the track.
When: Saturday, 26 February 2022 from 9:00am to 11:00am
Where: Red Hill Reserve - see here on Google Maps
Walk difficulty: Easy - medium
What to bring: Water, sun protection, something to eat for morning tea, and wet weather clothes if rain is expected.
Please RSVP using the form on the right, and we’ll be in touch before the day to confirm details. Feel free to share with your friends and family on the Northern Beaches as well!
If you are catching public transport we recommend you get the bus to Holy Trinity church, Tristram Rd, Beacon Hill and walk from there to Red Hill Reserve via Brooker Ave (this adds 15 minutes to the walk).
This will be a COVID safe event in line with NSW government restrictions.
ACF Community Northern Beaches is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
