Brisbane, QLD: ACF Community rooftop meet & greet 👋

The new year is a great time to consider how you can make a difference in our Sunshine State by volunteering and making new friends.

Join us on a tropical rooftop garden 🌴 in the heart of South Brisbane for an afternoon of friendly conversation and connection.

What to expect:

👋 Meet and greet: come say hi to stellar ACF volunteers from Brisbane's northside, southside, west, inner south, and bayside as well as ACF Community Organisers Jude and Matt.

🌟 Hear short and inspiring stories from local legends who are protecting nature around Brisbane.

🐨 Learn more about ACF’s campaigns to protect and restore nature this year, and how you can take part.

🍪 There'll be name tags, free light snacks, and a few fun ice breakers you so can meet more local legends.

Who is this event for?

• Anyone who is concerned about climate change and wants to know how you can take action.

• Anyone who hasn't heard much about ACF but wants to learn more.

• Anyone who enjoys the lush plant life and wildlife that makes Queensland such a special place to call home and wants to learn more about how we can protect that for future generations.

Not your typical networking event

Have you been to a networking event where you had to walk around awkwardly trying to join a conversation? Or maybe you forgot everyone's name? That won't be a problem at this meet & greet. We'll provide name tags and facilitate some icebreakers so you can meet more local legends.  

Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email explaining how to get to the rooftop.

Accessibility

There is a ramp at the entrance to the venue, a lift, and an accessible toilet on the same floor as the rooftop garden.

If you have any other needs for the day, please let ACF Community Organisers, Jude or Matt, know ahead of time so we can best accommodate those needs.
