In this workshop, we'll discuss the many different users and uses of the space and how verge gardeners must consider them all.
Topics will include:
a) Why predominantly local native plants and council-planted street trees are best for biodiversity and tackling climate change - and for inclusion and advocacy within the community.
b) How to use the web and social media as a non-confrontational way to create more conversations and find new allies. (with no need to publish personal details)
c) Why complying with the BCC Verge Garden Council Guidelines is essential and adds value to the success of any verge planting project.
