ACF Community Brisbane Central - Global Climate Strike Contingent

This is your invitation to join the Brisbane Central ACF Community Group at the Global Climate Strike in Brisbane!

This massive movement is building power around the world, and the students are asking all of us to stand with them on September 20 for a day of high-impact global action. Join us to make sure that our community is represented in standing with the student strikers.

Our friends in the Griffith ACF Community Group are holding a pre-strike picnic in the city -- and they've invited Brisbane Central people to join them! It'll be a great opportunity to get to know each other and share some food before we take to the streets.

We'll meet on the Wedding Lawn, which is near the corner of Alice and George Streets (marked as area 2 on this map).

By attending the strike together we'll share this critical moment while building relationships and chatting more about what can be done in our own areas.

Please bring your own lunch and any signs you may have. We'll head over to the rally together in time for the start at 1pm.

ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event. The Global #ClimateStrike is a student-led event with assistance from our allies Friends of the Earth and the Australian Youth Climate Coalition.
