We're building a huge people-powered campaign in the seat of Bonner to make this the Climate Election to protect the environment we depend on.
By having thousands of conversations with voters in Bonner we can make a difference in this marginal electorate. Teams of door-knockers are being oranised by different ACF community groups. We can get Climate in the mind of voters for this federal election and through to the following one.
Join the Sunshine Coast organised team of volunteers at this door-knock on Sunday 5 May in Bonner.
If you're on the Sunshine Coast you can car-pool to Bonner, leaving the coast on Sunday morning to be in Wynnum by 1pm. Let us know if you need to be picked up.
Don't worry if you're unsure about door-knocking. You'll receive training and support from start to finish, and be paired with an experienced door-knocker who can show you the ropes. There are also other roles you can help with on the day.
We know that face to face conversations are the most powerful way to motivate people to vote and act. That’s why it's so important to reach as many people as possible in this seat and encourage them to use their voices for change.
More details are in the RSVP email.
This door-knock will be on the traditional lands of the Turrbal and Jagera people.
ACF Community Sunshine Coast Region is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
