At our update meeting on 30 January we decided dates for our next couple of doorknocks.
We know that conversations are the most powerful way to motivate people to vote and act. That’s why in the run up to the next federal elections, we’re going to keep having conversations with people on their doorsteps about why climate damage matters – and how they can use their voices and votes to choose a government with the courage and vision to stop it.
Join us for a community doorknock in the key electorate of Chisholm to elevate climate damage as a major election issue now. Never been to a doorknock before? That’s OK! We’ll make sure you have all the materials, training and support you need to have a fun day making a difference for our planet and the people we love.
Meet at Cottage Cafe in the North Blackburn Shopping Centre at 1:30 pm. We will have an outside table if the weather is good. From there we'll go through everything you need and then split off into teams!
Please bring your fully-charged smartphone as we'll be using a mobile survey to record our conversations. If you don't have a smartphone please let us know so we can bring enough paper surveys.
ACF Community Chisholm is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
