Sign the petition to Malcolm Turnbull: Don't give Adani public funding

This is our biggest petition yet.

Over 100,000 people like you have already added their name to say no to a $1 billion handout to prop up Adani’s polluting coal mine.

In September, we delivered their names to 17 politicians and their staff to demonstrate the huge community opposition towards Adani's mine.

Any minute now our government could make a decision on whether to help fund this dirty coal project. Add your name now so we can keep ramping up the pressure.

The funds would come through the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF). After huge public outcry, political support for Adani is crumbling.

Burning polluting fuels like coal is heating the air and the ocean. Our Great Barrier Reef is one of the most diverse natural environments on our planet. Up to 50% of the Reef's coral has died in the last two years.

There’s no way we can let Adani dig Australia’s biggest coal mine – which threatens to drain and pollute groundwater and wreck our climate.

We have a duty to protect the reef so that the coral, fish, sharks, rays and turtles who call the Reef home can live on for future generations.

By signing this petition, you're joining the biggest movement in Australia's history. The more people who join our community, the more pressure we can create on Adani. This mine is a line in the sand. We will #StopAdani.

Prime Minister Turnbull, during the election you said there would be no public funding for Adani. Adani's Reef-killing coal mine is not public infrastructure. Don’t waste public money on it.

If the world needed this project (it doesn’t) and it was viable financially or any other way, it wouldn’t need ANY public money to prop it up. And that’s before you consider the environmental disaster we can expect. Malcolm, don’t do it, don’t let it happen.
