In the next few weeks, the Turnbull government could hand over $1 billion of public money to prop up Adani’s giant polluting megamine.
ACF supporter Sharon France thinks this is an outrageous use of public money, so she's come up with the Australian People's Bank of Better Ideas.
Sharon recalls, "I literally woke up one morning thinking, 'If everyone could spend $1 billion on something beneficial, what would they fund? Certainly not a loan to a billionaire for a coal mine.'"

You can increase the value of these systems by having local suburban storage facilities.
Upgrade our health facilities, use the funds for better education, and create more jobs in our society. With more jobs, there is more money spent, benefiting the economy.
Investment in solar or wind power to phase out coal fired power stations in line with the values of the rest of the world.
Transport infrastructure for public use
Health,Education,public services,eg: nurses,police,fire brigade etc, or my biggest dislike for non funding is ‘homelessness’ there should be no reason for anyone to be homeless in a rich Country such as ours!
Invest in clean energy industry & create jobs – skilled & unskilled, as well as ‘work for welfare’ and/or volunteer opportunies
Renewable energy, scientific research, free university, developing ecotourism and training in ecotourism for former ossil fuel employees
Plsase spend the money on sustainable solutions which ensure the survival of endangered species and their habitats.
Wind, wave and solar energy! Think of future generations! Also, living on one of the driest continents in the world our water is precious! We could take care of our homeless people instead of big business!
