David is an independent environment campaigner with 30 years’ experience scrutinising environment and nuclear public interest issues in SA. He will discuss his briefing paper The health of emergency response workers and the Port Adelaide community is at risk in a potential AUKUS nuclear submarine reactor accident, which addresses the implications of emergency workers facing catastrophic conditions in the event of a nuclear submarine accident. Copies of the paper will be available at the meeting.
