Calling all nature lovers from within the community! ACF Macnamara in partnership with Westgate Biodiversity are holding a morning volunteer day in the beautiful Westgate Park, Port Melbourne. Bring along your friends and family, this is a family friendly event. 

After the volunteer activities, we are gathering for a BYO picnic lunch to celebrate World Earth Day 2021 🥗🥟🍰🌯

Schedule
10:00 am                        Introduction to the volunteer activities & safety briefing. 
10:30 am - 12:30 pm      Planting activity. 
12:30 pm - 1:30 pm        BYO Picnic 
 
What to Bring
Don’t forget a hat, sunscreen, water bottle, closed shoes and gardening gloves (extra gloves will be available). All other gardening equipment is provided. 
We'd love you to stay for the picnic to celebrate world Earth Day! It's BYO food, snacks, beverages. There are electric BBQ's available.. 

Meeting location
We are planting an area adjacent to the Todd Road carpark. There are plenty of car parks if you are driving.

Look for the marque located at Westgate Park - next to the Todd Road car park on the path into the park (which is next to Salt Water Lake).

Getting there by bus 
The Sunday bus service #235 runs every hour. Alight at the terminus on Wharf Road, Port Melbourne. Cross the railway line and follow the sign to the BBQ area. The Todd Road Car Park is 75 metres from the BBQ area.
