Be part of one of South East Queensland’s largest campaigns to save the iconic Toondah Harbour Wetlands, the stunning bay where you catch the ferry to Stradbroke Island/Minjerribah/Terrangeree.

The bay is under threat of becoming 60 residential towers, commercial buildings and more, destroying this internationally recognised Ramsar site. Toondah Harbour is home to critically endangered shorebirds and animals, including dugongs, dolphins, and turtles. This area is also well established koala habitat, who are threatened by the project.

Join us and people of all ages, all backgrounds, across political landscapes and from all over Brisbane, Redlands and beyond as we Walk on Mother’s Day, in solidarity, demanding the Environment Minister, Redland City Council and Walker Corporation, Save Toondah Harbour!

Check out the Walk last year over 2000 people attended and we want to go BIGGER this year! https://youtu.be/vihw_KQpg_o

Starting at Raby Bay Harbour Park (next to the Cleveland train station) there will be community stalls, speakers, and music. Beako the large 3-person puppet will be attending again this year.

If you are a business, please bring a banner with your business logo to show support.

We are the voice for the animals in the bay. Let’s use our voices, whistles, tambourines and drums to make as much noise as possible. If they could talk what do you think they would say?
