Alice Springs: Rise for Climate march

Community members of Alice Springs will join tens of thousands of people across Australia and around the world, taking part in a global day of climate action on Saturday 8 September.

Our Prime Minister brought a lump of coal into parliament to sing its praises, and has just appointed a coal lobbyist as his chief of staff. Meanwhile, this is the third consecutive year that Australia's climate pollution levels have increased.

Come and make your voices heard! We need urgent climate action.

Join this fun, family-friendly event, where you can expect:

• Big Hot Photoshoot at 2pm
• Music by Mili da Moocha and False Being
• Kids' disco with DJ Beesting
• Facepainting, food and drink stalls
