Take a break from the run-up to Christmas madness! Meet with other folk concerned about the threats to the only planet we have.

Join us for just an hour and a half in Botanic Park to build on the success of the launch of the Adelaide Community ACF group. Activities will include:

  • Getting you up and running with Slack, ACF’s social networking tool use to organise events. Bring your phone, reading glasses and learning mindset!
  • Brainstorming on how Adelaide ACF can contribute to climate action in 2020
  • Deciding our first event for 2020

I’m new, can I attend? Absolutely! Most of us met for the first time at “Activate Adelaide” in early November. We’re aiming to build on this acquaintance and focus on how we can channel our energies in 2020. Join us!

What to bring:

  • Your reflections on how you would like to get involved and the skills you can bring.
  • Water and a snack.
  • Sun block.
  • Your own reusable cup.
  • Your phone, calendar and reading glasses.
  • A deck chair if you have/need one!

Transport Links:

  • Tram stops at southern entrance to the Botanic Gardens which means a truly awful walk through the glory of the Botanic Garden. Oh no!
  • Frome Road Buses: 98A, 98C, 235, 238, 239, 271, 273.
  • Hackney Road Buses: 281, 281K.
  • North Terrace: 106, 174, 176m 176G, 178. More walking through the Botanic Gardens. Truly terrible.
  • Parking on Plane Tree Drive is free on Sundays

We’ll be meeting on the grass of Botanic Park under a tree. There will be uneven ground to reach us! Let us know if you need assistance and we’ll be there to help.

Look forward to seeing you there!

This event is hosted by members of the ACF Community, as part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
