Did you see pictures of the kids’ #ClimateStrike last week?

20,000 incredible and courageous students walked out of school in every capital city and over 20 regional centres to demand our elected representatives take decisive action to stop climate damage.

This bold display of leadership by some of our youngest citizens left us speechless.

Hearing thousands chant “Stop Adani! Stop, stop Adani!” gave us goosebumps – because these kids are right. Stopping Adani's mine is more urgent than ever.

Last week, Adani announced financial closure on their mega coal mine. This destructive mine profoundly threatens life on our planet. If it goes ahead, the Galilee Basin will be open to nine climate-wrecking, water-guzzling coal mines – the biggest expansion of coal mining on Earth.

This cannot go ahead. We owe it to the young people in this country and across the world to stop Adani and keep all the coal in the Galilee Basin in the ground.

Let’s show the kids we have their back with another massive swell of people power this weekend. Join the #StopAdani Alliance this Saturday 8 December for rallies in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Stopping Adani has become the test of whether an elected representative is serious about climate change. We need to make this huge so our elected representatives get the message: we are not going away, and we will never go away until they listen to the people, not coal lobbyists. We will not stop until Adani’s climate-wrecking mine is ruled out for good.

We're inspired and energised by the brave kids who took a stand last week. Now it’s up to us to stand up for the people we love and for future generations. RSVP now to the rallies in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.

Together we can stop Adani.
