You won’t want to miss this!

Ryan McLaren who lives in the Southern Highlands, was 10 years old when he made a movie about how individuals and families can ‘do their bit’ for climate change. He was inspired when he heard about the group of people in Bundanoon who supported the town to stop selling still bottled water, and encouraged shop owners to sell reusable bottles for people to fill from filtered water stations in the town.

ACF Community Southern Tablelands group are showing the movie (online via zoom) and you are all invited.

Ryan has very kindly agreed to join us online at the start of the movie to tell everyone a little about himself and to answer any questions. The movie is suitable for “anyone 8 years to 108 years old” so children or grandchildren are very welcome to join us.

DATE:    Saturday 30th October

TIME:     2pm-3.30 pm  (online via Zoom)

When you RSVP a zoom link will be sent.

In the movie, Ryan visits various experts to find out what we can all do to reduce the Climate Change Emergency. At the end of the movie he interviews Craig Reucassel to find out what inspired him to help the planet.
