NSW, Newcastle: Community group Welcome Night

Come say hi to your local ACF Community group! Whether you are new to the group or an existing member, we want to meet you.

To kick things off we'll be hosting a welcome night for any interested members next week.

We want to hear from you, what makes you passionate to protect nature, and what motivates you to get involved. If you’ve been thinking about getting active for a while – now is your time!

What will be covered in the intro meeting? 

• We want to hear from you! Who you are, your background, what brought you here & environmental issues that concern you.
• Hear from Ken Matahari, ACF Community Organiser about: ACF campaign priorities this year.
• Upcoming training events and opportunities.
• Meeting expectations (how often do you want to meet, register your interest in getting involved: charing meetings and taking minutes).
• Housekeeping things: join the Newcastle Slack channel.
• Next steps for the group.

We hope the ACF Newcastle Community Group will grow to be a group of likeminded and friendly people, working together to have a real impact. By being connected to a national network of dozens of ACF groups like us, we push for bold national change.
 
ACF Community Newcastle is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
