Join us at the Balcombe Creek Trail car park on the corner of Nepean Highway and Uralla Roads Mount Martha to spend 30 meditative minutes watching the water and hoping to spot a Platypus. A Melbourne Water DNA survey identified platypus in this creek, but no actual sighting has been recorded, so this is your chance to participate in citizen science that could make a real difference. Bring a chair and we will spread out along the creek in spots with a good view of the water. This will be a timed group observation period but feel free to spend as much time as you want during September and October looking for platypus in our creeks and rivers, and if you see one please upload your sighting to the Platy-project site.https://platy-project.acf.org.au/
