ACF Community Tasmania South planning meeting

2024 is a vital year for action for the environment, not least because the federal government is reviewing the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) Act, which will form the basis for environmental decision making for the next decade. We cannot overemphasise what an important opportunity this is to set Australia on the right path for protection of the local, national and planetary environment. ACF is mounting a major national campaign to lobby the government and we in Tasmania can help.

To plan our strategy, we will be holding a planning meeting on Sunday 10 March, from 10am to 1pm at the KickstART Network Centre (the Old School Room), 12 St John's Avenue, New Town, 7008 and you are invited to attend.  At this meeting we will e-meet via video link with Drew Beacom, ACF National Growth Organiser and our contact with ACF Sydney.

At this meeting we will discuss what we can do for nature in 2024.  This is a critical moment and we would love to see you there. We would love to hear what you think ACFCTS can do. This is a chance to meet like-minded folk in a friendly atmosphere and to work what we can do to build a better world.
