ACF Community groups are taking action right across Australia. This introductory webinar is a great way to find out more about our growing network of groups, how they're taking action for the people and places we love, and our strategy for creating long-term and lasting change. Whether you are interested in joining a group or starting your own, joining our Intro call is a great place to start.

Joining an ACF Community group means:

  • Being part of a fun local group of people who care about making a real difference.
  • Getting skilled up, learning how to meet with your MP, work with the media and more.
  • Having the opportunity to step into leadership roles and build people power in your community.

Here's what we'll cover on the call:

  • What are ACF Community groups?
  • What do ACF Community groups do?
  • What support does ACF offer ACF Community groups?
  • What's expected of ACF Community groups?
  • How can you join or start an ACF Community group?
  • Q&A

These webinars are at 6:30pm AEDT (5.30pm QLD time), and they go for one hour. You will receive a confirmation email with the log-in details when you RSVP. Thanks!

How to join on the night

Joining online:

It's highly recommended that you log-in online so you can participate in the public chat and view our training presentation. We use a video conferencing tool called Zoom (very similar to Skype). If you haven't used Zoom before, you'll be prompted to download the free software, so leave about 15 minutes before the call to complete this. To join the webinar online, click on this link.
