Join us for a loop walk close to Heathcote in the One Eye State Forest, where the birdlife is abundant and the hills are mostly gentle.
The meeting point is about 40 minutes’ drive from central Bendigo, 7 minutes from Heathcote and 50 minutes from Castlemaine. You will need to register to find out exactly where we will meet and start our walk.
We will walk about 5.7 km and expect to finish in 2 hours. Much of the route is off-track and will take us up and down a series of gentle hills – nothing too taxing. It will be important to stay close together as we walk. Please wear sturdy supportive footwear and suitable clothing, bring your walking poles, drinking water and snacks, and protect yourself from the elements.
