Join us for an interesting loop walk in the Mount Sugarloaf Nature Conservation Reserve, Fosterville, and enjoy some varied scenery and expansive views.
The meeting point is about 26 km from central Bendigo and 64 km from Castlemaine. You will need to register to find out exactly where we will meet and start our walk.
We will walk about 5.5 km and expect to finish in 2 – 2.5 hours. Much of the route is on badly eroded tracks and uneven ground and it includes a climb of about 100m elevation, which is mostly gentle, with some steep sections. Please wear sturdy supportive footwear and suitable clothing, bring your walking poles, drinking water and snacks, and protect yourself from the elements.
