ACF Brisbane South & Logan October meeting

The latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change shows that we are running out of time to prevent catastrophic global heating. Now is the time to take action. Becoming an active member of the Australian Conservation Foundation is one way you can make a difference. The ACF engages politicians at state and federal level and asks them to adopt policies which cut greenhouse gas emissions and promote renewable energy. The ACF Brisbane South & Logan local action group has been talking to our MPs for the past four years and we have more campaigns planned for the next couple of months. We need your assistance.   

Our monthly meeting is this weekend.  It would be great if you could take part.

Where: The Social Space, 21 Clifton St, Moorooka

ACF Brisbane South & Logan has some great events coming up, including a stall at the Solar Citizens Electric Vehicle Event at Logan Community Centre on November 20. We are also getting people to put up Climate Action Now signs at their home and in their suburb. In June, we ran a successful Electric Vehicle Day which attracted more than 100 people.
