ACF Boroondara and ACF Inner Melbourne Planning Session 

As a local ACF supporter, you are invited to join our annual planning session for ACF Boroondara's priorities and actions for 2024.  It's an exciting time to advocate for nature and a safe climate and there is much we can do in Boroondara and Kooyong.

As a small group we have achieved some great things over the past year — community stalls, forest tours, a citizen science event, family forest event, the Nature Laws Forum, collaborations with other ACF groups and local group Lighter Footprints.

We are also standing members of the Kooyong Climate Change Alliance (including bimonthly meetings with Dr Monique Ryan MP) and Electrify Boroondara, and we support the Interschool Sustainability Partnership. These existing networks will help shape our actions in 2024. So there will be lots of great opportunities to take meaningful action!

We'll start with a meal at The Elgin Inn Hotel, 75 Burwood Rd Hawthorn followed by our planning session. We'll hear from ACF's community organiser Carly about ACF’s main campaigns and possible actions we might like to take during the year. 

No special knowledge or experience is required and all ideas are welcome.  Come along and meet some like-minded locals who want to work together for a thriving, sustainable future!
