Pack up your kids and your picnic blankets, and cap off a long weekend by joining ACF Gladstone for a screening of '2040' under the stars on World Habitat Day. 🌠

World Habitat Day is recognised by the United Nations as a day to "spread knowledge of the basic right to shelter and remind people that they are also responsible for the habitat of future generations". 2040 is a hybrid feature documentary that looks to the future, but is vitally important NOW! More info about film here: https://whatsyour2040.com/

We're also thrilled to share that Gladstone Wildlife will be joining us before the film, to showcase some native animals and educate us on the threatened native species that live right here in Gladstone region. We will have some themed activities for the kids, including a threatened species art contest they can enter online. 🎨

Join us at 5.30pm to meet the animals and chat to the wildlife carers. We'll be seated at 6pm to start the event, with the film ending at 7.40pm. BYO blankets or chairs, plus snacks for the evening. Bring something warm to wear. Bathrooms are onsite. Please be respectful of others and stay home if you have viral symptoms or have had contact with somebody who is unwell. 🦘🌏
