Chisholm Vic: 2030 Targets Vigil at Gladys Liu Office 20211203

Our Community is very disappointed in the lack of commitment to Climate Justice by our Federal LNP Government.  Science and the Glasgow pact are very clear on the need for strong emission reductions of more than 50% by 2030.

Following our participation in the Global Day of Community Action for Climate Justice outside the office of Gladys Liu on 5 November we have decided to hold a vigil asking for science based 2030 targets on Friday mornings.  Since her office is on Burwood Highway, which is a major arterial road the most impactful time is morning peak.

We will meet outside Gladys Liu's Office and then stand on both sides of the road with banners and signs.
