How to talk about things that matter 

Conversations are important. They are how we communicate with people on the things we care about. And how we build relationships and motivate people to act.

But conversations can also be challenging, right?

Come along to the Sustainable Living Festival and join the Australian Conservation Foundation’s Max Smith and Mike Pulsford – campaigners extraordinaire – to learn how to:

• have effective conversations that get people to act
• gain an understanding of why we use values to communicate with people
• build your confidence speaking with people on the issues you care about (even those who don’t always agree with you)
• develop handy tools to use for engaging and communicating with people in your community.
