Volunteers

Volunteers are an integral part of the extensive services delivered by Cancer Council SA.

The work of Cancer Council SA volunteers is highly respected by the South Australian community and exemplified by our commitment to the National Principles for Volunteer Involvement and Management.

Cancer Council SA values volunteers and is committed to improving the way in which we work together. We take care to ensure your placement is of real benefit to the community and satisfying for you. Volunteers assist Cancer Council SA in a wide variety of roles. New volunteer roles are created in line with changing community needs.

As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to:
  • Make a difference
  • Share skills and experience
  • Learn new skills
  • Teach others
  • Gain valuable work experience
  • Meet people and make new friends
  • Increase your confidence and self esteem
If you have regular time (no matter how little) we’d love to hear from you.

Are you only available after hours or weekends? If so, you may like to participate in our community events. Please print and complete a downloaded form.
