Volunteer opportunities
In Memory program volunteer
A compassionate and empathetic volunteer is required to help us with our In Memory program by representing Cancer Council SA at pre-arranged funeral services and collecting donations from funeral homes.
It is essential that the right volunteer will have excellent interpersonal communications skills and hold a current South Australian driving licence.
We currently have other volunteers attending funerals and collecting donations and would like this volunteer to help support them by volunteering on an on-call basis. We will ensure we provide you with as much notice as possible.
On call volunteer work: Fundraising events and activities
We regularly require volunteers to assist us with various fundraising activities and events. The assistance required can include volunteering at a site and selling merchandise, collecting donations or handing out sunscreen, coordinating site setups or even driving and deliveries. Times vary with some out of hours work available.
